Can you believe Valentine's Day is only 4 days away? If you're planning a party for this weekend or the 14th, we're here to help with some fun drink and treat ideas!
First up, some gorgeous cocktails featuring red, pink, and chocolate - quintessential components of any Valentine's Day celebration.
This Pink Strawberry Sangria is simple (only 4 ingredients!) but looks refreshing and delicious. We'll take two!
Are you making brunch for your special someone or for family or friends? This Strawberry Mimosa looks ah-mazing! We weren't planning a brunch, but maybe we should reconsider!
This hot chocolate, called Tru Luv Chocolate Coco, is guaranteed to warm you up and looks so decadent! Make sure you save this one for the adults ;-)!
And you'll need some nibbles to go along with your drinks, right? Here's what we'd pair with each of the three drinks above.
For the Strawberry Sangria, we'd pair it with a dessert that's on the lighter side. This Strawberry and Cream Parfait could be served at brunch, but we prefer it as a not-so-heavy dessert option.
We'd pair the Strawberry Mimosa with this drool-worthy Nutella and Strawberry Stuffed French Toast. Yes, please! Now we're definitely going to have to plan a Valentine's Day brunch! Yummmm!
And last, but not least, we'd pair our adult hot chocolate with something else chocolate - go big or go home. Have you ever tried the Pioneer Woman's chocolate sheet cake? It is SO good. She's not kidding when she calls it the best chocolate cake ever. I could eat it every day and not get sick of it. It's one of my go to recipes and I hope you'll try it and love it, too!
And because now that I've started, I just can't stop, here's a bonus dessert recipe: two ingredient chocolate truffles! They're vegan and potentially gluten free (just double check the chocolate bar you use), so they're great for people with dietary restrictions and delicious even if you're a card-carrying carnivore!
Let us know if you try any of these yummy concoctions in the comments or drop us a line!
