Here goes nothing!

Hi everyone! We're officially live and open for business at! In addition to providing party services and paper goods, we also want to take some time every week to share tips, tricks, stories, and whatever else strikes our current moods! We hope you'll stay tuned as we share our thoughts, events, successes, #pinterestfails (yes, they happen even to professionals!), and other tidbits.

This week, we have red, white, and blue on the brain. We're not sure how it happened so quickly, but summer has arrived (and it's a scorcher so far! Yikes!)! When we think of summer, we picture backyard barbecues, lazy days running through the sprinklers, and, of course, the 4th of July. When we started looking for items to fill our 4th of July pinch, we were blown away by the adorableness we found. How stinkin' cute is this collection??

We want to throw about a dozen 4th of July parties...too bad there's only one July 4th per year!

Here are a few fun and festive ideas we found around the worldwide web!

*Have little ones or live in a "no fireworks" area? These Brit and Co homemade sparklers are safe for everyone! Make them as described or use red, white, and blue paper!

*Love s'mores but not as much the mess and/or fire component? Try this make-ahead version from A Dash of Sanity. We're drooling.

*This simple but delicious cake from Cakescottage is one of our favorites and has already made several appearances this summer. Make it perfect for the 4th by using a combination of blueberries and strawberries on top for an American flag design. Adorable and delicious - #winning!

Hope you have a happy 4th that's filled with fun, family, and friends!
